  1. How to install PC TrueType fonts
  2. NOTE: Never Install a TrueType and Type 1 font with the same
  3. name.

  5. FROM WINDOWS 3.x.
  6.  
  7. Installing TrueType Fonts (Recommended, if you do not use
  8. Adobe Type Manager)
  9.  
  10. From Program Manager open MAIN and double-click the Control
  11. Panel. Select (double-click) the Fonts icon.
  12.  
  13. When you see the ADD FONTS dialog box, select ADD. In the
  14. Drives box, select the drive letter for your CD-ROM drive.
  15. When the CD-ROM opens, you will see several named folders.
  16.  
  17. Open the "FONTS" folder.
  18.  
  19. You will see a list of numbered sub-folders; find the number
  20. of the font you want to install and double-click on it.

  22. Each numbered folder contains two sub-folders. Each sub-
  23. folder name repeats  the font number followed by True or
  24. Typ1 to indicate the font type. We recommend that you use
  25. TrueType if you do not use Adobe Type Manager
  26.  
  27. Open the TrueType folder. You'll see the font's name appear
  28. in the "List of Fonts" window followed by the  word TrueType
  29. in parenthesis. Like this: Font Name (TrueType)

  31. Select the font name (click on it once) and click OK to add
  32. the font to your  system.

  45. Click the START button, select Settings, select Control
  46. Panel and then open the  Fonts folder.

  48. From the Fonts menu bar, pull down File and select Install
  49. New  Font... In the ADD FONTS dialog box, go to the Drives
  50. box and select the drive letter for your CD-ROM drive.
